This week's Yiddish Voice presents an interview with Eleanor Reissa, narrator of Those Who Were There, a new podcast from Yale University’s Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies. Survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust are the subjects of the podcast, which just released its second season featuring witness interviews conducted by New York's Museum of Jewish Heritage. Eleanor Reissa is a singer, actress, director, and writer, on both the English and Yiddish stages. In the interview Reissa discusses not only the podcast and her role in it, but also her own connection to the Holocaust as the daughter of Holocaust survivors, as well as a look back and an update on her work as an actress and singer.
